I got nothing to complain about.  Yeah, it's been a bit too wet, but I'll remember this year fondly the next time we are whining about needing rain.

Lol!  I just posted on WSMVs Lisa Spencers Live fb page that I was ready for heat and humidity please!   She read it out loud and laughed and said its coming Beth.  I sure hope so! 😍

Lisa Spencer's heat bias is one of the main reasons I don't watch WSMV anymore. Paul Heggen leaving was #1. Glad someone likes humidity.  :) I, like many, are not cut out for it which is why summer is by far my least favorite season.

Even if we escape the upcoming sequence unscathed severe wise I will still appreciate this year for actually having a spring.  The only complaint one could have is that we have had a few too many gray days, but as Jaycee said next time we have to deal with the drought we will be wishing for those.

I appreciate the cost savings of sparse use of heat and air over the last couple of months.

I have zero data to back this up, but it does seem the midsouth has been in a severe weather drought over the past few years with just a handful of notable MCS events.  Grumble grumble!  ::shrug::

I think our area is in a relative severe weather lull similar to the end of the 70s and the 80s.

It seems like we go through active periods (the 1960s to the mid-1970s and the mid-1990s to the early 2010s) and these lull periods overall.
