Chattanooga’s snowfall drop doesn’t seem quite so bad on the surface, but barring some really amazing winters in the 2020’s, it’s going to fall off a cliff once the Superstorm drops off the averages in 2031. I won’t be surprised to see it drop below 2”.

Ok... the toilet paper people from last year decided they all need gas tonight I guess...

Not sure where I’ve been.

I am seeing some forecasts that show a heat ridge sitting on top of our heads this summer as well.

La-Nina climo (yes I know lol) plus the strong SW Ridge does support a hot and dry summer, but hopefully like many things this year it will go astray.

Me personally I think the true misery this Summer is out West with the combo of drought and a steady SW Ridge, but the Monsoon could kick that crap over to our area during the 2nd half of the year.

California and the West are not looking good.

The Sierra Nevada is down to 8% of its normal snowpack this time of year.

Not weather related but what a total cluster...

That’s a major headache. The state of our infrastructure is scary. For 13 years I had my business in East Nashville, living in west Nashville we had a contingency/action plan for if wolf creek dam failed. With the Cumberland River splitting the city, failure could have potentially kept me on one side or the other for weeks. We’ve since moved our business closer. I feel for everyone who has to deal with this for the foreseeable future.

I have this feeling we're going to continue this below normal pattern, and then a switch will flip and bam, we'll go directly to summer and 90 degree temps. But, we'll see what happens.

It's almost mid-May.

The area where my wife is from in MS made the news at WREG in Memphis.

In fact, Reed Davis, the one interviewed in this story and toward the end of the video, is my wife's cousin.

I've seen the pig named Kevin Bacon.  :D
