I predict it will snow and some point between 2023 and 2034.  ;)

About the best we can do when generalizing everyone on this forum. Localized events really do skew the averages which are taken from BNA here.

HOLY $HIT!  Bruce predicts something that doesn’t include torturous heat or deadly giant tornadoes!  This my friends is history in the making.  I hope you are right.

This was showing on last night's 0Z run as well. Marginal temps but still nice to see. Let's bring on Winter. ::snowman::

That Aleutian Island Ridge/WPO Ridge is going to cause at least the first half to the first 2/3rd of December to torch like crazy.

Once we get away from MJO Phases 3-5, things won't be as bad but until that happens and we lose that Aluetian Island Ridge then I will be in weather snooze land.

Hello, all. Looks like we need a December thread.

I don't live in the area anymore, so I don't post very often. It's been a while since I've typed out a Bruce post. Maybe I'll do that at some future date  ;)

Hope you are all doing well.   :D

I predict a lot of 'kick the can down the road' moments of model watching this month.. dig in for the long haul, weather foxhole brothers.
"When an infinitely small variation of the present state will alter only by an infinitely small quantity the state at some future time, the condition of the system, whether at rest or in motion, is said to be stable but when an infinitely small variation in the present state may bring about a finite difference in the state of the system in a finite time, the system is said to be unstable."
