2023 Hurricane Season
« on: June 02, 2023, 01:09:39 PM »
On day 2 of the season we have the season's first named storm, TS Arlene. Let's hope for a calm season without damage!

The GFS has been consistent with a TS or weak hurricane in the Gulf at the end of its run.

So... I'm going on a cruise from Galveston to Cozumel next week.  ::wow::

Need the Gulf to behave during that time.  ;)

Hope it isn't through Carnival, unless you want to core punch anything that spins up down there. ;D

Thankfully, the weather on that cruise back in June was calm, just very hot.

TS Harold has made landfall in Texas. With relatively low winds, hopefully this can be a drought buster rather than a flood maker and do the region some good.  ::fingerscrossed::

We went on the Carnival Breeze on that trip.

(Again, this was back in June when I posted that.)

Unfortunately, it missed the areas of the Hill Country and into North Texas that needed it the most.
