It would be nice if June and July houses all the upper 90s and heat indexes and then come August start tapering off.  I hate when august and September are relentlessly hot.  Hot and humid is great in June/July though.

I for one welcome the quiet period of weather we are enjoying after an active severe threat winter and early spring. Bring on the warm season derechos, I am done with tornadoes for the year.

Personally pulling for low to the mid 90s from mid May to first week October …the more humid it is , it’s even better .  Hopefully we will have a decent severe wx fall season later October into November

Got down to 29 at my house in Readyville this morning.

I checked the Wundermap at about 6:00. Much of northeast west TN and most of middle and east TN had fairly widespread temps at or below freezing. Due to Tennessee's topography and urban sprawl there is obviously lots of variability, but lows clearly overperformed.

Hit 36 at my house in NW TN. Covered my 20 tomato plants last night in case.

I think we hit 32F in Warren Co.  Woke up to a light frost on the windshield.

It’s been a great April in my opinion. Not too warm, absolutely zero severe events, and no excessive rainfall. The 90s aren’t far away now boys!
