Still over 100k people without power in the Nashville NES service area. Also now up to 3 storm related fatalities in KY, and I believe the number is 2 here in TN last I heard

Both neighbors have huge oaks down on their houses. Going to be a total loss. Lucky to be alive

Wow. Got lucky over here by the driving range. A family across the river wasn’t so lucky and had a house fire resulting in a total loss. Glad you and yours are ok.

Luckily this event ended up being a flop overall. The wind was lower then expected and short lived and the storms took longer to form and never could fight off the sheer very well preventing them from maturing into potentially strong monster supercells.

speaking of the tornado severe wx threat, i agree. but the high wind threat verified better half. actually was a little worse than i thought it be.  high winds were the big show of this event

Yesterday, I saw an NES lineman up in a bucket in the middle of the high winds! A gust came up, and he crouched down a little. It subsided, and he went back to work. These people just don’t get enough credit!  ::applause::

the atmosphere yesterday wasn't really that far away from having  some major issues to be honest, especially over central Tennessee and Kentucky

Honestly they don’t, and the amount of absurd/selfish comments I saw on post after post where people were complaining about their power being out and why it is taking so long…like they were the only ones affected.

I would say having 400k+ people without power in both states was a pretty major issue.

With just a bit more instability I would agree on the severe front.

Facebook is already a cesspool, but when there’s a power outage, it’s 10x worse.

Social media is ridiculous. People are just plain stupid. Social media has done 99% bad and about 1% good.
