Obviously it can only come so far west, but I wouldn't get worked up over the accumulation maps even tomorrow. ULLs are the worst about going from nothing to boom time even when the event is underway. It happens with all storms from time to time, but it seems to happen every time with a ULL.

The latest model snow maps are attached except the GFS which will have its 12Z run available in about an hour. I’m riding the Euro to glory or gloom lol!

More times than not I get snow on my Birthday. This year it falls on next Wednesday. Hopefully we will get a beautiful snow.  ::snowman::

If I had any confidence at all about this forecast I would feel pretty good right now. Shame it's a ULL. I'll probably wind up watching it snow in North Georgia while it rains here. Shades of 2009.
Winter 2009-10 Snowfall: 11.5 in. :)
Winter 2010-11 Snowfall: 15.5 in. :)
Winter 2011-12: Trace
Winter 2012-2013: 0.25 in.
Winter 2013-14: 10.6 (9.5 on 2/12)
Winter 2014-2015: 10.25 in.
Winters 2015-2019: basically nothing
Winter 2019-2020:
2/8/20: 4.25

12z GFS made a westward jog, too, compared to the 0z and 6z iterations.  Still not 100% satisfied the Euro/NAM are correct, but if it isn't, those are REALLLLY bad misses.

2/9 12Z GFS snow map. Slowly creeping westward.

12z Euro relaxed a little bit.  More realistic solution highlights the I-75/81 corridor.

2/9 12Z Euro sadly pushes the snow band to the east. This may end up being an event for the mountains but we will see.

does seem like blending everything together the 81 corridor tri-cities towards roanoke stand the best shot at this

For clicks & giggles, the 18z RGEM does a nice paint job for southern middle. Would love a more western trend but I'm not getting my hopes up. Rootin' for the mountains to cash in this round. Hopefully we'll get some March mischief forum-wide especially based on where the SSWE/MJO is headed.
my attention fixing to turn to severe weather. … far I’m concerned winter just left the building . Lol
