right now next week is just model madness....something is possible to occur in mid south/ohio valley , where it sets up who knows. But in an overrunning potential situation s/w to northeast, clarksville area does usually stand a good chance....who knows :) I will be a bit surprised if it ends up happening in the midstate, i favor the ohio valley at this point...hope i am wrong :)

A nice snow shower passed over MTSU in the last hour.  Lightning has a tiny bit of slush to stomp through on the way to his next class.
Hire the left-handed --- its fun to watch them write.

From what I am seeing pretty much the entirety of North America (or at least from the Texas/Mexico border and up) will finish above average this month.

Wouldn't surprise me if this January ended up Top 10 warmest for most if not all of TN.

Nashville looks to finish on par with 2017 (which is either the 9th or 10th warmest) but will finish below 1880 and 1890 which were the two warmest.

Edit: Memphis looks to do the same, but finish slightly above 2017

1890 was the strongest La-Nina in weather records and for 1880 I'm not sure.

I was trying to say thanks, there are so many variables in weather that can cause a winter to be warm or cold.
