I know we have an active severe weather event to discuss at home, but has anyone else gotten sucked into the YouTube black hole of 2011 Japan Tsunami videos this week? It happens to me every year around this time. In 2011 pretty much everyone in Japan carried around a flip phone with an HD camera. As a result, video clips from this event are plentiful. To this day, many of them seem like they can’t be real. Straight out of a Roland Emmerich movie like “2012”. This year marked the 10 year anniversary of this terrible event. I’ve once again spent far too much time this week watching videos of the tsunami. This one is probably my most watched video of the event. It’s from further away from the ocean than most others, but shows the incredible volume of water pushed into these valleys better than most others. I strongly recommend watching the entire thing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXxktSfVvSQ&list=WL&index=4&t=928s
