I like everybody in here, always have. I respect the real weather people here more than a lot of the local mets. The knowledge in here from those people is fantastic!!!

I never have claimed to have superior knowledge or anything like that, I just have some basic knowledge and know a bit more than the general public does and I just like to talk about it with you all. I'd like to think we were all friends :)
Some posts are at times a little "much" but I think everybody is here for the same thing? We like to talk weather :)

I am afraid those  type winters are a forgone    Conclusion….. there will be some some winters better than others .  But those winters are gone ….. precious memories …..

Those winters were a rare anomaly. Good documentary on Youtube covering them. Really quite interesting.

Can we talk about the upcoming winter weather in this thread?   ::snowman:: ::snowman:: ::snowman::

For all of the warministas on here, it could snow in June and I'd be thrilled.  That would probably require a nuclear war, though, and so that would not be thrilling.

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be

sure wish there was something in the models to give me hope, but unless something drastic happens in the next 7-10 days it's pretty much all she wrote for winter this year :(

I would take about 90 days straight of last Sunday and Mondays weather. Sunny high of 70-75 and very little wind. Absolutely perfect weather.
