First morning with steam coming off the pool. Lots of 42-45 degree readings out here in the sticks.

36° was the low here this morning -- just one degree shy of the record low for the date.

Thank God for climate change making our Septembers so much warmer than they used to be or my son would've been out there with a pick busting the ice out of the dog's water bowl this morning!

Absolutely amazing fall weather. Fantastic string of 10 days.

This has been the most enjoyable September, weather-wise, that I can recall in a long, long time...maybe ever. I hope we aren't going to make up for it by torching all October.

I think East TN should be okay as the ridge core will be centered over the Northern and Central Plains.  West TN and possibly into Middle TN will probably be quite warm for the 10th month of the year.  The worst of the heat in October if I had to make a guess will be from Northwest Wisconsin through Texas and over to the Rocky Mountain range.
