Now if Greenville Ms could get one. Talk about a radar hole.

MRX needs one of these in Murphy NC. HTX stops working halfway through Polk County, and that tri-state corner of GA, NC, and TN is too far from Peachtree or GSP for coverage.

Great news.

There needs to be one in the Pocahontas AR/Doniphan MO area.  That is the borderland area for 4 NWS offices and there is a noticeable radar hole with storms coming out of the Ozarks and into the PAH/MEG CWA there.

Also in Missouri, NE Missouri was voted the worst radar hole in the nation and very similar to SE Missouri/NE Arkansas except even more population is impacted.

The radar hole there extends over Monroe, LA, and El Dorado, AR, too. There were two bigger holes over the TX/OK border area, and the ND/SD border, but I think new radars are filling those soon.

We shall see if our county commission doesn't screw this up...
