We have Hurricane Sam in the Atlantic now, likely to be a major Hurricane soon. The current forecast expects it to shift northward and stay out to sea, but it's moving slowly and shifts in tracks are always possible. It shouldn't head for the east coast but does bear watching in case something changes.

The HP over the Eastern U.S. is critical. Otherwise, this would slam into the coast like Hugo.
