The Ozarks to Western KY is looking at a very conditional but potentially significant threat tomorrow night into early Tuesday.

If the CAP breaks I think you would see all-hazards severe weather and then moving towards a severe cluster setup.  Very similar to 5/27/2004 in KY.

Tuesday's threat cannot be determined till we find out what forms on Monday and if any outflow boundaries would be left behind.  Overall Tuesday looks to be mostly a hail/wind threat, but an outflow boundary would probably back and increase the low-level shear enough for a tornado threat in those zones.

I will go ahead and let you do it.  There probably is enough to warrant a thread.

Edit: No sooner than I submitted the post, the warning got extended.

The debris ball went bright blue for a little bit as it was moving through the southeastern part of the city. There was definitely a hit but hopefully not too bad.

Every one of those mini-supercells has some rotation.  They don't look like much but they are spinning like a top.

I'm enjoying some natural air conditioning with windows open and temps in the low 60's.  I also had a few rounds of showers move through keeping things chilled.  I know it won't be long before sticky heat sets in, so I'm basking in the cool May temps while they last.

Down to 61 here in the saturated woods, while TYS reports 70 that had 2" less water from the sky yesterday.   Wet ground and trees does cool the air.
