we do....however yet again this was an event that was in a marginal risk zone which the general public is never going to take seriously and it is just amazing that so many have happened in marginal risk in past year....not bashing, its an observation, it has almost become common that marginal risks are having tornadoes in them lately while enhanced risks are having less of an impact than forecasted....just interesting
Gives you an idea how rare tornadoes are in places such as Morgan County
Not to get too technical, but it was a slight risk zone. I think everyone took the risk seriously. There were several homes destroyed but no injuries. When the warning was issued, our sheriff's department's chief deputy sent his wife to their son's house which had a basement, and he got into the crawl space beneath their home. The home was severely damaged by the storm but he wasn't injured.
Crawl space??? He's damned lucky.
really... couldn’t picked a worse spot
There are many worse places to seek shelter in a tornado than a crawl space.
