I was super conservative on both of last week's snows at 1.5 inches apiece. I am going to have to be very generous today to call it 0.1 of an inch.

Woke up to a dusting with snow falling.  Much of it has melted, but snow has started to pick up again.  Occasionally, it comes down hard enough to reduce visibility briefly.  Radar shows some good returns around Knox, and northwest of there, heading this way.

While not the storm of the century, it does feel like mid-January outside.  Something that's been pretty rare the last few years.

Awoke to a nice snow shower this morning Brent great with my coffee. The roads were covered briefly. I

Woke up to mayyybbeee a 1/2" on the car hoods.  Was really slushy, though.  Had a quick burst of flakeage about 830, but its all gone now.

I had just enough to get into the measurable category of just under a half-inch.  Just north of town, they had a heavy enough band to have got around 1 inch in places.  A difference of 5 miles at best.   

This ended the longest snow streak on record for Paducah and Evansville as they got a few tenths of an inch of snow.  The last time prior to yesterday they haven't seen measurable snow since November 2019.
