Can see the movement now start to come out of the West. Could rotate and fill in and bring Davidson Nashville into play. But the snow dome is hard at it.

Moderate flurries, this storm whispering in my ear as it leaves. A kick in the nuts for many of us, and a great surprise for others. Glad that the southern counties are doing well this season so far. Its been localized but many are getting some feel of a normal winter. We dont need arctic plunges and massive high pressure systems to get things to happen. What I do find is when it does snow here the intensity is usually pretty impressive as we are working with pretty strong ULL systems most of the time.

Far section of southeast montgomery had a good snowshower for about 20 minutes, I saw about 4 or 5 tiny flakes in woodlawn. That was it for here. On to the next storm. ::rofl:: ::rofl::

Snow on the Delta Bottoms (Jan 11th Event)

Morning satellite - granted Meg focused. That one strip of snowfall from the ULL was like an oasis. Although there was snow all over the area, the snow band which was well predicted by the HRR -just a little off on placement- put down up to 2 inches of snow which is still there for the time being. The globals had a hard time and most sheared it out over Arkansas- including the NAM. It held together until middle Tennessee. Weird system.

that is an amazing image!!! one tiny little stripe of snow in west tn
