Models did pretty poorly with this one. HRRR in the short range has not done well at all.

The NAM's solution from a couple days ago that showed widespread coverage across SW Tennessee to the Mid-State turned out to be the best one. I understand that's easy to say in hindsight, because these amounts are so localized across a large area.

We are getting hammered with snow now. The ground is covered. I guess I was not patient enough this morning.  ::snowman:: ::snowman:: ::snowman::

It's hard to be patient when you've missed the last few and everyone south of you is getting it. Don't blame yourself.

Snowfall has picked up here again... not particularly sticking at the moment. I guess we'll see if rates stay up enough for temps to go down.

Have to be closing in on inch and a half or perhaps some more in Collierville off Houston Levee/385
That narrow band this morning in southeast Shelby and Northwest Fayette was a beast. S+ for about 3 hours. Thereís a solid cover here and none just 3 miles away.

Quick half inch of snow on the ground in White Bluff. Happy for my kiddos. They have waited patiently today.

Yeah go two miles West on Shelby Dr from my office and there was almost nothing on the ground at lunchtime. Might be a little now after that last burst...
