Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches with up to 12 inches above 7000 feet. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet, with 3 to 6 feet above 7000 feet possible. Winds could gust up to 40 in the lower elevations and in excess of 80 mph over ridges leading to whiteout conditions.* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 4 PM Sunday to 10 AM PST Monday. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Tuesday afternoon through late Thursday night.* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. with very dangerous travel conditions possible Tuesday night through Thursday night.
