question, just 4-5 days ago every single site had early march as being much below normal temp-wise.....

Are models really THAT bad? same thing happened past 2 years when trying to forecast cold air, everybody said it was coming and showing maps and it never happened....

Models and forecasts are terrible IMO.  I have tracked weather for hunting and fishing for a long time.  Sure seems that busts are way more frequent with increasing technology.  Who knows, trying to predict weather is about as useful as trying to predict women to be honest.

I have never put much stock in seasonal forecasts or anything past 5 days, but plenty of people ( even on here) act like it is gospel sometimes lol

From the National Weather Service:

Quote
Though there is still uncertainty as to amounts and placement, we're watching this area for potentially heavy rainfall Tuesday through Thursday. This could lead to flash flooding and worsening of ongoing river flooding.

I was not expecting severe warnings this evening. The cell in Jonesboro has a history of ground covering hail.
