Wednesday thru Sun am looks pretty chilly with a couple of chances for snow. I'm not sure what else those of you who are winter fans can ask for given the time year and our recent track record.

I know what I don't want s another day of 6-7 hours of moderate snow and watching it all melt as it hits the ground :(, that was a real punch in the gut last week

Yep pretty much.  Everyone is grasping at straws now to make something happen but it is O V now.  Fat lady has sung on winter.  Personally glad as I see some warm weather on the horizon.  Looks like most days in the 15 day will be 50+ degrees.

12 GFS showed a little more moisture for wed night and Thursday than the 6z did. Especially on the plateau. It was still pretty light overall.

LOL, you know whats interesting, I do very much get an adrenaline rush out of a big outbreak of REAL severe weather with supercells etc....BUT it has been so long since it actually happened here ( seems like it stays south of the TN line anymore) I get more nervous about it than I used to if that makes sense

You know bruce the last true widespread supercell threat here that I remember was 2009 and dec 2015 (although was not a massive outbreak)???

We all knew the 2011 outbreak was not going to materialize for middle Tennessee by about 9 that morning when we saw that massive rain shield wasn't moving....it's been so long

Not gonna lie Im okay with that and it can stay away another 50 years or so lol. Just hate knowing when they happen someone is going to lose their life or best case property.  Were due a tranquil spring of endless sunny and 65-75 degrees!

Not gonna lie, it is a BIG adrenaline rush and extreme events are what gets people interested in weather to begin with....BUT after 2011 seeing what happened SO close to us, It kind of changed my mind on things...I don't get excited anymore, I get concerned

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be
