Tropical Storm Nestor
« on: October 17, 2019, 09:48:59 AM »
There's an 80% chance of this developing into a tropical storm. It's currently positioned right off of the coast of northeastern Mexico in the Gulf. The track is aimed toward the Florida Gulf Coast- specifically Panama City Beach and the panhandle.

If this develops, East Tennessee could experience a soaker. West and Middle shouldn't receive much rain from this, if any.

We have PTC 16, with naming likely later today. Landfall looks like overnight Friday/early Saturday morning in the Florida Panhandle, with some outliers going up to weak category 1 hurricane.

Since itís already considered post tropical, would they ever call it a hurricane or name it?
