Well, my forecast from the NWS shows a slight chance of rain and *snow* showers for Sunday night and Monday.

Yup.  ECMWF shows 1/2" for me.   ::shrug::  Too far out to get excited, still it's something to watch.

Same for Dickson. Too early this far ahead of winter to trust a Euro mean. I'll settle for any flakes flying whether they stick or not.

I see the other winter starved people are hoping for some flurry action too :)

Would be cool but I am not gonna trust a model for 5-6 days out this year....last winter the modeling just crushed all of my snow wishes and I lost faith in models more than 60 hours out lol

I hear you. Better to play it cool. It's only November.

I start trusting model runs for accumulated snowfall down here around 24 hours out. Anything can happen before that. Within 1 day, you have to be very unlucky for a system to go *poof*. But it happens.

It is going to be COLD next week!  ::cold::

Pretty safe bet next week is going to be well BN. Teens not out of the realm for lows. That cold front Monday morning means serious business. Question is how much moisture there is associated with it, and how much can interact with the arctic air behind it. To see any winter precip - period- in November is pretty dang impressive.

Looks like the mid-day runs of all of the major models(including the Euro) showed some snow for the bulk of the state Monday night. We'll see about that, but what is even more impressive is the depicted cold. Holy Cow!  ::cold::

Some forecasts suggest we struggle to get above freezing on Tuesday.

Euro is looking good today. Feeling good about seeing some flakes flying next week. Main run was around an inch for BNA, ensemble mean around 0.5". That means nothing this far out, but I do think at worst we see some backside flurries/snow showers. Pretty good shot of cold this early.

Things are getting exciiiiitiiiiing  ::snowman::

I don't care if this doesn't work out. Talking about winter weather in Tennessee on November 6th is always fun. And it was 100 degrees 5 weeks ago.
