I was up and out early this morning and the huge, almost orange moon hovering in the trees sure did feel like something out of a Halloween special on TV.  Add our Friday the 13th to the Harvest Moon and the fact that it's already been a truly insane week for all kinds of reasons and I'm starting to think it might be time to put out the skeletons and jack-o-lanterns.  Except the heat index today is going to be about 1500 degrees, there's that part...
seems very strange... heat index running 105... temps mid 90s seeing Christmas stuff already out in some stores ... crazy
Come on severe wx season...

Barring a pop up shower, 100+ about to go down at BNA.. 99F at the 1:30pm update. Rare not even considering it's September 13th. Would be the first time since 2012.  ::shrug::

Yep. It happened again here today. 2 days of triple digits this summer. There wasnít nearly as much humidity this time. However, half the city is currently without water due to a break in a 36Ē main. The entire system is on a boil advisory. Basically everything downtown and north of the river closed down today. Many of the larger buildings require water to operate the AC systems. Not to mention lack of drinking water on an insanely hot day. Iíve also heard that some animals have died at the aquarium due to lack of fresh water for the filtration systems.

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be
