Kind of off topic. Is there anyway to get up to Clingman
Clingmans Dome (and the road) closes every year around December 1st, and reopens March/April. Although the road is closed, you can walk the 7+ mies to the dome....but that's not feasible with an 8 year old. So, the highest you can get is the Newfound Gap parking lot at the crest of the mountain. Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk
*** Based off the latest 00Z Runs of the GFS and European, I am checking the F out and heading to Tahoe. Looking like a atmospheric river event could happen. GFS looks like a 2-3' storm, while the European is now really cranking it up along the Sierra Crest at 4-6 feet. Above 6K is gona get crushed, and I will be chillin in da cabin with my homies waiting for first lines. If ya wana come experience some crazy **** , lease be my guest and come with me.
Going skiing while you're up there?
Going skiing while you're up there? Also, don't be afraid to get some good video for us.
That is pretty much all I do Nov-April and when I can get to Chile , Argentina during the Summer.
Sounds like a rough life. Enjoy- and good luck digging out if you're trapped in the cabin.
