Euro weeklies consistently cool the middle of the country in mid September and it speeds below normal normal eastward over almost the entire country by October. Upper 80’s in September is still a bargain given some of those ridiculously long stretches of mid 90’s we see sometimes.
As winter lingered into our spring, so does summer linger into our fall. At this point, I would just be thrilled with a frontal passage and a change of airmass. Not happening in the next 7 days.
