Haha, on the way to rip some spring pow. Traveling this year has been a big PITA, but the juice is usually worth the squeeze. Pushing the cold and storms your way.

* WHAT...Snow occurring. Plan on difficult travel conditions,
  including during the evening commute. Additional snow
  accumulations of 6 to 9 inches, with localized amounts up to 15
  inches are expected.

* WHERE...Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope
  Northern Sierra Nevada including Interstate 80 over Donner Pass,
  Highway 50 over Echo Summit and Highway 88 over Carson Pass.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at
  times.

The HRRR/RGEM shows a coating for the highest elevations of the plateau. Pretty impressive for April 19.

It wouldn’t be a stretch with this ULL in the colder air though... forecast of showers over night with a low of 37 in Nashville.

This would be where we lament on why we couldn’t get this setup in January.

I wouldn't of looked at it that hard normally, but I do these outdoor events during Spring and Summer. The weather has just been killing me on the weekends.
