It's pouring snow in Cape Girardeau at the moment. It looks like areas along that line of latitude will do quite well in this little system. Some of the returns might be amplified by sleet.

Bowling Green is seeing sleet right now. They are still well above freezing though.

HRRR still showing the sleet line getting to us for a couple hours tomorrow morning. We shall see. Again, not much, but I’ll take any winter wx.

I’m not overly fond of the new GFS, but here is the 12z FV3 through the end of the month. It’s ugly.


18Z “old school” GFS has increased again as well. This is just through Friday night:

Winter 2010-11 Snowfall: 15.5 in. :)
Winter 2011-12: Trace
Winter 2012-2013: 0.25 in.
Winter 2013-14: 10.6 (9.5 on 2/12)
Winter 2014-2015:
2/18 - 0.25" snow
2/20 - 1.5" snow, 0.15" ZR
2/24 - 0.5" snow
2/25 - 8" snow :)

Down to 35 here, we've dropped 2 degrees in the last hour. Down to 34 at 6:30. ::popcorn:: ::cold::

Surely you should start seeing some glaze at some point soon. Hopefully a little more precip will build to your west for you.

Hopkinsville and most of western KY upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning. Up to 1” of snow/sleet and ice of 0.25”-0.30” is the forecast.

We went up a degree to 34, it figures nothing to see for Tennessee it looks like so far. We will probably rise to 35. ::drowning::
