The temps in Knoxville have started going back down; I don't think we ever got to the 39 degree high that they had forecast.  From the radar it looks like most of the moisture is continuing to spin over Middle TN so we'll see what happens.  There may be some serious time invested tonight in looking out at the streetlight to see when the snow starts after dark.

Saw NashSevereWx just tweet that latest HRRR shows a possible additional 3 to 4 inches.   Thoughts?

If that other band from Paducah makes it down here, an additional 3-4" is very plausible.

Latest HRRR accumulated snowfall. The numbers may be a bit overdone, but the point is that we aren't done with this event yet.

I hope that band can make it here, it has been snowing steady here anyway for the most part. Kinda light steady,LOL! But that band seems to be making it. ::guitar:: ::snowman::

I'll be curious to see what it does. Looks to be moving almost straight south currently but hopefully as the system moves NE that blob will begin sliding SE. Would be a nice cherry on top if it stays together.

per @NashSevereWx

Seems like a pipe dream, but it does seem to be stuck here for a while longer!

That band out of KY has made some headway down here. Snow has picked up. Not heavy or anything, but a steadier general light snow ::snowman::

I've had a solid moderate snow since that last band passed.

Even if that band doesn't make it. 1.5 over the next 3 hours seems entirely possible at the rate its falling.

Hope I get this band to boost my total a little anyway. It's been light but steady even though the radar doesn't show much. That band keeps getting closer, should boost returns a little anyway. ::popcorn:: ::snowman::

11-14 inch snow amounts are appearing in south-central KY locations.
