News 2 just stated that the Nissan plant is closing and that all shifts are cancelled tomorrow.  That never happens.

Its snowing about as hard as I can remember ever seeing it snow right now in Cookeville. Its been pretty heavy last couple hours but its really really coming down at the moment.

Guys, I would greatly appreciate an update if you could give me one. I'm on top of Monteagle currently on my way to Pulaski,TN. I've gotta spend about an hour there doing an inspection and then headed back to Chattanooga hopefully to make my friend's 30th b-day party by 8EST. What kind of conditions can I expect on the way back? Thanks!

Haha. I've been tweeting my UPS driver to see if she has abandoned her route for the day since she has a package I've been waiting on. Sadly it isn't looking good.

We finally have snow coming down in Shelbyville. Lunch is almost ready if you can make the drive...chicken  and dressing, mashed potatoes, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, pinto beans and corn bread! The life of a teacher on a snow day!

Yay for low sun angles too. Had this been in March we would be having more trouble seeing this accumulate at this time of day.

Yummy! I would be there but we are close to 5 inches of snow in Dickson and I do not drive in snow!
