Yeah I can tell by looking outside that things are slick. Do you think that CKV is still going to do good on the snow end stormnine. Nashville is going to be okay also I think, at least from what I can tell. ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

Clarksville and the KY/TN border areas should be fine for snow lovers in matter of fact will likely be the big winners since we have the main deformation band moving through our area.

Dude, if you ask that one more time.  OF COURSE CKV IS GOING TO GET THEIRS!!!  In other news, portions of 101st are already closed due to ice.

I would say we are pushing 1/4 inch of ice on trees and power lines. Still heavy freezing drizzle and 30 degrees.

You may be switching over pretty soon.

I am aware of the ice, I took a little nap and was just wondering if there had been any changes with deformation banding. Excuse me for being a little nervous, in weather in the south nothing is certain. My main concern is this transitioning to sleet rather than a long period of freezing rain. ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

Yikes dyer, we are getting freezing rain also. Trees and glazed and the streets are very slick. Good luck, I am going to go lay down for a few more hours and try to get up around 3. ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

What time does 15z turn into? Also is Nashville or Lebanon going to see any type of wintry precipitation tonight? We are not supposed to get below 33 degrees until tomorrow afternoon.

15z is 6 hours ahead of central time.  So 9:00am.

I think we'll be below freezing before noon... And no not tonight, though if temps fall any more I may be wrong and we might see a bit of ice

Don't want to go to sleep. Too many times when I've gotten up the next morning there has been nothing on the ground, and the news channel's saying it JUST missed us.

Do the models ever get to a point where, the majority of them agree on the outcome.
