Let's keep the convo here. Easier to follow. More inclusive.

BTW, someone tell me that BNA isn't going to dry slot.

I'd love to provide comfort. I've been so burned by our wicked winter weather in the past this was a text to my wife earlier today:

"My one and only prediction for tomorrow:

Last year, I made some predictions about winter weather. I didn't do so well. So this year I'm trying a new and much improved approach. Here is my official one and only prediction for tomorrow:

Temperature:  Between 15 and 80

Condition:  Sunny, Cloudy, Rain, Freezing Rain, Sleet, and/or Snow

Accumulations (if any):  A dusting to 20 inches.

I'll be damned if I'm gonna be wrong this time.

Of course with my luck, it'll be like 90 and sunny tomorrow and I'll be wrong once again.

"

:)

Lisa Patton didn't change the snow totals at all even though it's moving in 5 hours or so earlier!?

She should RGEM snow totals that were much higher then the forecasted amounts. BNA with 4 and Portland with 10.

I realize what Lisa Patton just threw out there from RPM will never happen... but wow that was something to see. She also put Perry Co in 4-8".

Sorry guys, I don't see a free private chat that will let in an unlimited number of people.  We can get more than 10, you just have to sign up.  If someone else has a better answer, I'm all ears.

Maybe I am in the minority but I find the chat hard to follow if I am not hanging online every minute. The boards are nice in a time like this to be able to leave for a bit and then catch up. Granted each has its positives and negatives.

One thing is for sure when I leave for work in the AM I am packing a bag. I work in the ER so I am sure if we get a bunch of snow I can get a room in the inn. granted they will put us in unused patient beds but it will be warm and safe.

The chat is just for having fun...any "news" will still be posted to the board.
