23z HRRR does not move the 32° line that far north of me. It bisects Allen County, KY before it starts drifting back south from 7-8 AM.

Each HRRR run recently has been keeping that 32°F line closer to TN for the duration

Kind of interested in this first band approaching CKV from the south, we are at 32. I hope we don't get a lot of freezing rain. I wonder when the profiles for CKV would make a sleet transition. I also am wondering how heavy this first band is going to be. ::fingerscrossed:: ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

Why do the on air mets use the RPM?  When the NWS does not use it.  Is it a lazy model they can look at & say yeah that is about right?  Lisa Patton at 6 showed it.  It had Nash getting 3.5 & Boro 3.4. Mt. Juliet 4.5.  Even it is predicting more than Lisa Spencer is.  Who knows.  A lot of different thoughts out there.

Denton: Still holding steady with my snowfall map for now. Just remember, amounts will vary within the shaded areas. #wmc5 https://t.co/ycPuif8mjd

I would put money on the RPM having totals higher than that. It looks like he created his own totals for the color scheme.
