His map is actually realistic. 2-4" for Nashville with the 4-6" contour not far away.

Yeah they updated the map from what they showed at 5. Here's their estimate. Lisa Spencer is attached to that arm:

Looking at the hourly per NWS it has now changed the snow from starting at 5pm to 11am in location. I would guess this storm has shifted a bit southeast.

HRR tomorrow morning. And with 50mph gusts per same run over Memphis metro

That's a freakin' blizzard. I guess it's not expected to last long enough to issue a warning.

Temps across the my area (Erwin TN)  are currently below freezing (colder than what model guidance is showing). I would imagine some of the current snow pack may help influence temperatures tomorrow morning,  leading to higher chances of wintry precip. Some of the latest HRRR has some areas across the lower terrain changing to heavy wet snow by around sunrise.

I thought my temp would rise some as moisture moved up out of the south. It started falling before the rain got here and has fallen to 35 currently.

23Z HRRR has 1/4"+ of freezing rain and 7" of snow here by 8AM tomorrow with more to go.  Clarksville has over 1/2" of freezing rain with 5" of snow.

Sounds good to me!

I hope that map busts something terrible in s mid TN. Huntsville met Brad Travis supposedly said that parts of north Bama could see 4-6" if the bands set up favorably so there's a chance.

I have changed my avatar to Snowbird, as it shall remain until I see accumulating snow once again. So, in all likelihood Willy Wonka returns tomorrow.

These are been a trend, still very uncertain as we have a tight snow gradient.

Just saw that on live TV. And to think I was starting to warm up to him.
