As I believe someone asked yesterday, can I cash out my chips and go home now?

That's just rude for Rutherford County.

Paul Heggen's latest blog:

https://4warnweather.wordpress.com/2016/01/21/january-21-more-snow-wellllllllllllllllllllll/

boo

I was reading that a few minutes ago when I was picking up a prescription.  UNFORTUNATELY, I don't have a script for happy pills.

Kevin - some feedback issues on the GFS? That hole makes zero sense.

Exactly, we needn't have our noses rubbed in it by the 50 Shades of Weather Graphics.   ::shaking_finger:: :P

Paul readily admits he's "betting the under" for the Nashville area. Safest call for him to make and I can't blame him for doing so.

On to the 12Z EURO next, but we're getting to the point beyond the usefulness of the globals.  Another 12 hours, and we'll be getting into short range and nowcast.

Crazy such a difference between those 2 maps.  Well it does appear Nashville is going to get some snow.  Now if we can just add Williamson & Rutherford to that list please!

Not blaming him either. I sure wouldn't forecast something that in MOST probabilities won't happen; it doesn't mean it won't make me sad. It is accepted.

What a roller coaster ride. I think models are starting to lock on to a solution. I may be on the outside looking in on this one.

It was a now cast. Swing and a miss. Even Lee and st Francis were warned

That Christmas evening I drove from Marion to Hughes and then had to drive from Hughes to Marianna and cross the bridge at Helena to get back to my parents. Obviously a WSW would have sufficed for Lee County v a Blizzard Warning, but it was actually pretty strange because around Marianna ended up with several inches of snow and very gusty winds while I don't think Forrest City ended up with very much. I ended up sliding off Highway 1 in Lee County in a couple inches of snow, but I was luckily able to get back up on the road.
