Yeah just a slight tick south would get Nashville into play much better for sure. ::fingerscrossed:: ::popcorn:: ::snowman::

MEG has already stated (on Facebook) that they will not be issuing a blizzard warning.

You see that heavy band up in KY that roughly parallels I40 to the north?

Move that south and that would be a fitting end to break the back of the snowdome.

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be

The whole transfer of energy to the East Coast is what is giving modeling trouble.

I agree but that's what was posted.   I certainly understand the not wanting to do so (for obvious reasons).

The counterbalance is that you don't want a situation where there are people stranded in cars in an actual blizzard (which I'm not sure that any storm on the record would have qualified).

Honestly,  I don't know- just nervously waiting.

We're going to get better upper level data probably with the 6z and 12z runs as all offices in TX, and some others in the southern Plains, are releasing special balloons tonight.

Yep I can see that band well being about 5 miles from the state line in Montgomery County. A slight shift south is much more welcome than any more shift north. LOL!!!! ::fingerscrossed:: ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

Well if the Euro trends north tonight then the GFS has a streak going.  I suspect the Euro to trend north.

These are been a trend, still very uncertain as we have a tight snow gradient.

GFS has ran. Waiting on Euro. Now is the time frame that chat is sorely missed.  :(
