The HRRR starts dissolving it over MEM by 12Z. Just saying I think they're too scared to pull the trigger.

I doubt they are scared.  That's the nature of the business.   If they are really forecasting a blizzard,  then I have full confidence that they will issue the appropriate warning.

I have no reason to doubt them.   MEG has (historically)  been an office that issues based on what they actually believed and not skirted around issues for political reasons.

I'll add that I would be very surprised to see them not issue a blizzard warning and the post-verification show that it was an unwarned blizzard.

Looks like the latest HRRR keeps starts to switch Middle TN over even sooner. Maybe all of the BNA metro area by 8

MEG has indeed upgraded Tishomingo and Prentiss counties in northeast Mississippi to a warning. Be interesting to see if OHX will follow in upgrading its southwestern counties.
