Yes, and the zone forecasts are literally saying blizzard. This might be a once in a lifetime event here. I'm obviously hoping they issue the BZW (as a wx nut) but I do think it could make a huge difference in keeping people home. That's a big headline to say you're still going to work regardless. I think they may be skeptical at this point of how long of a duration the heaviest snow will occur.
Any changes for Gallatin in the forecast since last night?
All it takes is considerable snow with frequent gusts to 35 and visibilities of 1/4 mile or less for a minimum of 3 hours. Many blizzard warnings are issued with much less accumulation and lower rates than what we are projected to get (and those are issued in the midwest/Alaska/etc.) Sent from my SM-G900R7 using Tapatalk
I dont know how long it will last but we just had blizzard conditions for about 30 seconds. Complete white out with the blowing snow.
