It looks really good for Middle Tennessee actually. Although at this point it is almost pointless to look at computer models. It is happening in front of us.

Had to take the newborn to LeBonheur today for some tests. Left memphis at 10:00 and it took 2 hrs to make a 1 hr drive home.  I have no idea how much ZR has fallen up here west of Blytheville but everything is coated.  We are so screwed when the wind comes in.

I'm increasingly becoming concerned about ice for the higher elevations of Davidson County. Already 31.6F here in Oak Hill with moderate rain. Hopefully WAA will kick in before the changeover to snow.

You are right to be concerned... The HRRR for the last few runs has kept the freezing line in the right in that area. Hopefully areas can at least warm up to 33 so they are not dealing with that.

Just enjoy the ride. The time to look at computer models is over and the event is happening right now. Get some sleep and let us see what morning holds!

[Dyersburg Weather]

HRRR has really been struggling with deform band in west Tn just like models all week. It about lost it for a few runs and now has trended better. Latest run has 5 for Dyersburg , 6 for Jackson and 2 to 3 for Memphis.

If there is any silver lining concerning the ice potential, it is the rainfall rates; should minimize accretion to an extent.

Yeah got quite a bit of ice on the trees. The Heavy Snow coming in along with high winds spells lot of problems for this area.
