New video has been posted of the the monsterous north Alabama EF-5 as it passed near Hackleburg and Phil Campbell. This home was on the very edge of the path and winds I'd say are easily in the 80-100mph range. The sound is incredible and the motion of the funnel for a tornado nearly a mile wide is absolutely astounding.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLDR-mfO5Ms
Watching those trees whip around being pulled towards the funnel...I remember six years ago seeing the trees in my backyard doing the same thing. That guy is extremely lucky that it went just to the right of his house. It's a really good video...but I have PC speakers that are not worth anything so I didn't get to hear the rumble from it lol.
If you're at a desktop/laptop and haven't seen this, you should:http://www.washingtonpost.com/posttv/afterthestorm/index.html#/the-life-before-and-the-life-after
