OHX AFD...

Quote
.LONG TERM (WED-SUN)...
ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED WED
INTO WED NIGHT. WARM AND WET SPELL APPEARS TO END THU AS STRONG
COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH. SECONDARY COLD FRONT HEADS IN WITH
ARCTIC AIR FRI. THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF WINTRY PCPN FRI NIGHT
AS COLDER AIR INTERACTS WITH MOISTURE STREAMING NORTH FM COASTAL
LOW. WILL KEEP CHC SLIGHT.
REST OF THE WEEKEND LOOKS DRY...WITH
TEMPS NEAR NORMAL.

MEM AFD...

Quote
COLD SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN BEHIND THE FRONTAL
PASSAGE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. ANOTHER POTENT SHORTWAVE
TROUGH IS EXPECTED TO DIG ACROSS THE CENTER OF THE COUNTRY WITH
SURFACE LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING ACROSS THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO
ON FRIDAY. THIS LOW WILL LIFT NORTHEAST AND HELP SPREAD MOISTURE
OVER THE COLD SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE IN PLACE OVER THE MID SOUTH.
THIS SHOULD SET THE STAGE FOR A MIX OF RAIN AND WINTRY
PRECIPITATION OVER PORTIONS OF THE MID SOUTH FOR LATER FRIDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. HAVE ADDED POPS AND WINTER
WORDING INTO THE FORECAST FOR THIS TIME PERIOD. STILL PLENTY OF
TIME TO MONITOR THIS SYSTEM AND THE POSSIBILITY FOR WINTER WEATHER
ACROSS THE MID SOUTH FOR THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEKEND.
DRY AND
COLD HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN BEHIND THE DEPARTING SYSTEM FOR
THE REMAINDER OF NEXT WEEKEND.

We will see. I would love to see some wintry weather. I just am not excited yet. Being Conservative. I dont want my feelings hurt.
