So what is the official way to set one up?  My remote temp/rain guage is about 60 feet from the house mounted on a 4x4 post.  I put a shelf over the temp sensor to keep it out of most of the sun.   However, the late afternoon sun still gets on it.

BTW, this morning was my highest low temp so far at 75.1.
