Geez not another one.  It's not worth it Cruff.  Do you want to end up in rehab like the rest of us?  My best advice.  Stay away from Ron.  He will get you mixed up in the heavy stuff.  We are talking Vort Maps, GEM models, you get the picture.  

On a more serious note.  the GFS keeps those Day 10 storms out there to keep you coming back for more.  Every once in a blue moon one will materialize like we are seeing tonight/tommorrow.

Then, in a couple of days after that, it could be back... and then, gone again.

It's a vicious cycle.

I know no one is getting excited just yet over that one, but the GFS for some reason has been exploding everything it picks up. The other day it had a run from 240 that had precip over the entire Eastern U.S. with 0'C temps into the FL panhandle.

Woo hoo.  I see a tiny core of about 15 inches around Bowling Green.  :lol:

But, in the frames before this, the 0-degree line was northwest of us.  So, it's another situation of cold air coming in with and on the backside of the system.

You know how those typically turn out...
