Since our Wednesday/Thursday snowfall looks to be on life support, I thought I would start a thread on the next possibility.  Seeing as how things treand NW in the models as we get closer to the event, this will be interesting to watch.  Colder temps will be in place and track of the low seems more southerly.

We'll be watching!

(Well, for me, I probably won't start looking at it until we get past this current thing in a couple of days.  I can only handle one coaster ride at a time.   )

Ohhhhhh I dunno... it could be.... I guess im just getting my hopes up!  :)

I did just check out TWC and they upped our chance Thurs. from 40% this morning to 90%.

Then on Monday Tuesday we have another "white stuff" chance, according to them.

I dont know what that person is basing their 7" prediction on.  Right now models are very bullish on even showing a storm during this period moreless a 7" dump.

Just noticed this little snippet from this afternoon's AFD:

.LONG TERM...A SERIES OF COLD BLASTS WILL INVADE THE REGION IN THE
EXTENDED FORECAST. DISTURBANCES MAY BRING PERIODS OF SNOW SHOWERS
AND LOCALIZED MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. FOR NOW JUST MENTIONING
SOME FLURRIES WITH MOST SIGNIFICANT FRONTS. FOCUS SHOULD BE ON
VERY COLD READINGS...WHICH WILL HAVE MOST AREAS IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS FOR LOWS AND ONLY 20S FOR HIGHS EARLY NEXT WEEK.

I think Winter is finally here!  :)

A couple of models want to give us a nice little clipper Monday night.  Would be a very dry snow if it did.  Really cold.

Looking like a good flurry maker at this point.  When the thread was started it was actually for a southeast storm that had shown up on the Euro that was throwing some decent precip back our way.  But it has since been supressed.  So now we are just looking at flurries from a clipper.

Im going with the reverse physcology thing.

It won't amount to much, and I don't want it anyways.

After our miss on Wednesday night i could hardly look at anything weather related.  But I am over that now and looking to see when our next chance for winter precip.  The Canadian model seems to still show something for tomorrow night late.  Looks to me to be a bit more than flurries, but you guys know a whole lot more than I do.
