I'm with you ams, 11 days and holding.   :cry:

I've always loved snow, but having all these days off that go to waste if you don't use then can make you REALLY wish for snow.   :)

I've seen so many hyped up winter storms go bust, it's not even funny.

Some of the best snows I remember came rather unexpectedly.  January 16, 2003 comes to mind for northern Middle TN.  Then, a similar situation happened on February 15, 2004 in southern Middle TN.  I also remember a surprise snowstorm in March 1996.

Even the big ice storm in February 1994 was grossly underestimated until it was right upon us.

Predicting winter weather in the Midsouth is tricky, tricky business.

I still think we'll get to use a snow day or two.  However, I have given up on using all 11.  That's my wish each winter-to use exactly 11 days.  :)
