Interestingly, as the temps begin to crash, check out the back-building.

I know...I know. Grasping for straws at this point.

Lol nothing wrong with holding on to every last hope :)
If everything would have been south by around 100 miles we would have had a real chance at some good snows. That's always our problem. Either low is to far north and we are to warm or the low is too far south and moisture doesn't make it :(

It's the GFS, but these maps seem reasonable. At least widespread light snow will get a few tenths on the board for most. May not be inching our way to average, but it's a start. Best meals come with appetizers anyway...

Looks to me that freezing drizzle may be more prevalent after the main precip moves out.

The rich keep getting richer.  Parts of Missouri, along with Illinois, Indiana and Ohio just north of the River look to get another memorable snow event.  Come on, share people!

We've tried this. They're stingy old weather-hogs up there. Let's try a different tactic and ask Florida to share. If it's not gonna snow, it might as well be sunny and warm.

I can't argue with that logic.  I haven't seen more than a passing glance of sun since last week, and could use a dose of vitamin D3 about now.

Agreed....if I wanted this kind of weather I would live in Oregon or seattle....it's been horrible. You can't step anywhere without splashing in a puddle...and tomorrow is going to be another soaker. If it is not gonna snow then lets go to Miami beach :)

Just had to post in the Goat thread. Our storm system is about to get started here shortly. Good luck to all in the path and hope we get a snowfall for some and hopefully more than expected. ::fingerscrossed:: ::yum:: ::snowman::

Chris Bailey said all the models vary on what time the cold reach the deep moisture. Guess it might be a now cast situation for Wednesday and Thursday.

I would be laughing right now if I weren't suffering from severe snow deprivation.  ::snowman::
