Power outages in Morgantown and Todd County in Kentucky due to ice accumulations.

This is already overperforming. According to the radar, the changeover is right along I-65. This was not showing in the models just hours ago.

Can anyone in Middle Tenn. confirm? Flakes in Williamson County?

Iím right on the Davidson Williamson border and itís a light rain here. Will be interested to see what this line of heavier precip moving this way brings with it.

Still heavy sleet in the Bellevue/Fairview area?

. No, sleet ended here after half an hour or so.

A light freezing drizzle has been falling here since the main band went through. Hoping for a little of that in Arkansas to make it here, we have slick sidewalks and glazed trees due to sleet and freezing rain but no snow yet. Congrats to folks west of here so far that have got some snowfall on the ground. ::popcorn:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

Still plain rain at Nippers Corner as the dry slot moves in. Some of the heavier bands of showers may provide enough brief dynamic cooling for sleet, but the majority of the BNA is and has been cold rain. Bring on the CAA.

Probably ended up with 3/4" here at the peak earlier.  Really pathetic all things considered but very exciting for November. I hope its a sign of things to come.

Just to show the ground temps though, everything on bare earth has melted here, but grass is covered. Its actual kind of pretty with the patterns formed from this.

Phantom snow still is falling here, but I don't see it adding much to the accumulations. Its still nice to watch. Will take this over drizzle any day. Overall a great early season event and makes me excited for the 'big one' that will happen in the heart of winter here. I'm calling it now, you all should be ready.

Watching the pinwheel motion of the precip out of Missouri, probably won't amount too much but may put some flakes in the air here in a little while. We had a dusting of snow last night but mostly icy trees and decks. It does look like a winter day and I will take it in early November. ::guitar:: ::cold:: ::snowman::

The HRRR grazes us with that action later on today. Man I hope it slips further south!

Got a dusting on the tops of the cars early this morning. Temp dropped off below freezing, but I couldn't find any black ice early.

It would be interesting to go through the archives of TN Weather and find the last winter threat in mid November that actually panned out and gave some on the board their first snow of the season.

Congrats to all that got an early Christmas gift.  Hope it's just a sign of an epic winter ahead.   ::fingerscrossed::
