So far my house has been missed by all the rain all week. But where i work on wednesday we got like a long 30-45min downpour.

So much for rain this week.. I dont see how we dont have no forms of drought on the map still. Ponds here are dropping already and with this heat the top soil has to be at least in the d0 stage surely..
Well finally got a rain although i think i need more lol

This early summer air mass looks to get completely scoured out next weekend by a cool Canadian air mass. Humidity should drop along with dew points allowing low temps back into the 40’s.

Actually should have clarified- it’s next Monday. We see if it can lower temps that much. Looks like a decrease in humidity is on the way with some kind of pattern change.

heat just hasn’t never really bothered me... no matter how hot or humid it gets....

Do you have to spend any extended time outside during the summer months?

Summer cancel love the title! I ran yesterday about 5pm, and honestly- I’m not acclimated yet. It was rough. Like any climate, we all acclimate at some point and degree- so even with the “lower dewpoints”- it will feel rough for a few more days.

Saw MEG tweet yesterday that of the top 5 warmest first half of May periods (which 2018 is now a part of), two of the remaining summer periods went on to be well below normal, and 3 were above. Euro summer forecast is just about normal for most with rain picking up soon.

Early winter peek at ENSO looks like weak El Nińo which usually means an early Fall- being it.

I'm all for it if we can "waste" the heat early!!!!  Good to know about the seasonal forecasts, at least!

we. Are well overdue for a extremely hot summer...

Huh?  2016 wasn't recent enough?

Put on my big snow boots and
I boarded the plane
Touched down in the land of the Delta Blues
In the middle of the freezing rain

Snow up high
Won't you pour down over me
Yeah, I got some accretion
But I'm as blue as a boy can be

And the tropical system looks to mess up the Canadian air mass oh well. Back to tropical and rainy I guess is better than mid 90’s.
