actually this threat has legs too... SPC has nice write up on the day 6 highlighted threat also... all severe modes possible... and seems to want to spread the threat further east day 7... which models have been very consistent on... this looks to be the first shortwave of starting a active severe pattern... ::coffee::

Euro showing 40 to 50 knot low level shear actually Euro has consistently been showing good low level shear

West TN may have some storms late Friday afternoon but the storms will be weakening moving into Middle TN overnight. Better dynamics will be south of TN.

per gfs... euro has the more robust set up as for now... saturday... still ways out to nail things down

I donít see an issue. If it was something two weeks out on the GFS, maybe. But, itís a risk inside 7 days with a risk area already being painted by the SPC.
