EDIT: Hopefully, the Euro stays on board and GFS gets on board the snow train.  :D

The Euro has been one of the more consistent models showing decent QPF for this event. I am curious to see the GFS.

Noticed the NAM also kept some light snow showers going for a bit after the initial system, which makes sense in the cold northerly flow.

This is the best chance for snow East TN has had yet.  ::popcorn::

If this works out, it's Middle TN's turn next.

All the models agree, even GFS, that it intensifies once it reaches the east. The great thing about this one is that it won't get chopped up on the god dang plateau.  ::doh::

The 12z GFS has come in with slightly more moisture. Ratios would be closer to 15:1 instead of the standard 10:1.

Iíll be curious if almost all will squeeze out a dusting at minimum. Regardless of precip modeled?

Unless something drastic happens and models completely dry up , this could be one of those rare occasions that everyone sees measureable snow.

Nice increase on the CMC statewide. This is 10/1 so totals would be much better.
